Riding to Labrador park today. Sunny and windy day, very nice for a ride. Wish had brought fishing rod along. So many people fishing, of course cannot compare to crowded Bedok jetty.
Sentosa is just opposite Labrador Park, a strong swimmer could easily swim across. Too bad swimming not allowed but kayaking seems possible.
Bought a drink, sat down on a stone bench under the shade to start my blog; at the background, I could hear drums and music, decided to investigate, and found a Malay wedding going on.. it was a little enclosed, couldn’t glimpse if the bride and groom were around, would love to see their wedding attire.
Continued riding towards Marina Keppel Bay, passed by Daniel Libeskind designed condominium, finally seeing it up close, the gym and lounge structure looks quite interesting, and it’s a different color. We were not allowed to ride pass a certain area outside the condo, had to dismount and push our bikes. Kinda strange as the floor finishes were the same, anyway, there were a lot of signages along the way, certain areas no fishing, no cycling, no camping, no BBQ or open fire, no swimming, no poaching, no climbing over rails etc..
Next stop West Coast Park, stopover at MacDonalds for aircon and drinks, phew! It was hot.. Finally reached home after a relaxing 32km ride. Found another place to fish! Great Sunday!
