As I was on my way to the chiropractor, I was wondering what I would like to talk about today. At the bus stop, I walked into the barrier coz I was looking out for the arriving bus and reading on my mobile. Would be nice if the barriers are cladded with weather proof foam of some sort? Less painful..
Along the roads I saw many trees with dead ferns, most likely due to the hot and dry weather, not sure if it’s good or bad to leave them there. Dead plants helping to fertilize the trees? Anyway it looks sad and a little unsightly.
It is Ching Ming festival again. A Chinese festival for sweeping and cleaning of ancestors tombs. Insense and money paper are burnt among other items. Some resident burn these items at the ground floor of their flats. The smell of burnt paper travels everywhere, suffocating even for those staying at the top floors. Pity those staying at the ground floor. Since this is a yearly event, I wonder if there is a better way then burning just below the flats; the furnace should be further away from the flats. Make it a law or something..
Do you see anything wrong with the big picture below..? Sheltered walkway, and slope for handicap not sheltered. I’m sure there’s a reason for it.
Residents are still filling up the corridor with their personal stuff, no one seems to be doing anything about it.
And lastly, the bunch of planters used to cover the pipes actually look very pleasant, except I saw rats crossing the pathway many times…
